ABOUT THE CREDO CLINICAL LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The goal of this system is to track clinical learning progress in real-time and provide an environment where students, preceptors, and administrators can engage in a meaningful dialog to quantify and make adjustments to maximize the learning experience. This is accomplished by students capturing the breadth, depth, and frequency of various patient encounters experienced during clinical rotations, standardized patient encounters, clinical skills and high fidelity simulations. Using the common vocabulary of ICD codes, these clinical encounters can then be associated with the school's Learning Objectives, student's logs, and with review information and challenge questions.
CREDO enables the student to create a quantitative portfolio, assess their progress in real-time, and hone their knowledge specific to each patient encounter.
CREDO aids the school, by quantifying student clinical experiences in each rotation, site, mentor which can then be used to make adjustments to optimally prepare students for their medical profession. CREDO also manages the organization and tracking of student's clinical rotations.
CREDO aids the community, for information captured reflects the instantaneous public health status at the hundreds of clinical sites where students are training.
